In memory of Jackie Robinson.
I am pleased to say that we raised ten thousand pounds for 'Jackie's Fund'. The money was given to the following four causes:
1 ROWCROFT HOSPICE – They run the famous Torquay Hospice. They look after more than 2000 people annually.
2 LIGHTING UP BRIXHAM - Donations towards new seasonal lights (see below).
3 PRIDE IN BRIXHAM. Funding for this volunteer group who have already created so many beautiful gardens out of unused spaces in Brixham.
4 BRAIN TUMOUR RESEARCH. The only national charity dedicated purely to funding scientific research into all types of brain tumour.
We now have new ventures.
